IMPROVERS/INTERMEDIATE WHEEL THROWING COURSES
Weekend Beginners+/Improvers Throwing Course – £295
LEVEL 2: Improvers/intermediates (one or two beginners courses)
• AGE RANGE: 18+
• CLASS SIZE/TEACHERS/INFO: Max 4-5 students & 1 teacher*.
*Please note that there may be two teachers for some of the classes.
• COST: £295 per person incl. all materials & firings to bisque. No hidden costs. If you do want to glaze your work there is a charge for this.
You can pay in 3 instalments via PayPal.
• INCLUDES: All your materials/tools/aprons/firings to bisque.
• DAYS/TIMES: Saturday & Sunday 10am-3pm.
LEVEL 2: Improvers/Intermediate (those who have done 1 or 2 courses with 12 hours throwing on the wheel)
Finished in the beginners and ready for the next step? We don’t believe that your only option should be is to repeat the beginners course. So, for that reason, we are introducing this new weekend course to help those who have done a beginners and want to get them to the next stage. This course focusses on improvement not on producing mountains of work. If you really want to keep something, we will bisque fire it at no extra charge. It is for adults 18+. You will be covering:
• Minimum experience requirement 12 hours throwing on the wheel
• Improving technique
• Looking at centring progressively larger pieces
• Improving pulling up
• Throwing off the hump
• Introduction to throwing with porcelain
• Helping you to reach your individual goals
• Practice, practice, practice!
• Maximum 5 students in a class

Glazing is charged for separately at a cost of £40 for two hours and can be arranged after your work has been fired.

• WHY IS GLAZING NOT INCLUDED IN THIS COURSE? The reason for this is that the best way to improve your pulling up is to take a look at what you have already done. This is best viewed in cross section by cutting the pot in half. That means that you end up with very few pots in one piece!!
• REFUNDS: 20 full working days (Monday-Friday) for a full refund. Between 20 full working days & the start of the class in advance then you will only get a 50% refund if someone else can be found to replace you. We will always do our best to try and sell your ticket on. All refunds are minus Eventbrite fees which are non-refundable. Cancelations may be subject to an admin fee of £50. REFUNDS for groups of 3 or larger require 25 working days notice as it can be really difficult to sell on large numbers of tickets close to the date of the class. There are no transfers available for groups of 3 or larger.
• CHANGING DATES OF YOUR CLASS: To transfer to a different date you must give 20 working days notice. You are bound by the above refund terms. We only allow one transfer per ticket.
