One-off Potter's Wheel Taster Classes
SATURDAYS & WEEKDAY EVENINGS ONE-OFF WHEEL TASTERS – £80
LEVEL: LEISURE/FUN
• AGE RANGE: 18+
• INCLUDES: A thorough demo showing you how to make various shapes/all your materials for as many goes as time allows/tools/aprons/firings for one pot.
• COST: £80 per person incl. firing for one pot. All extra pots made fired at a cost of £5 per pot
• DAYS/TIMES: Saturdays mornings 10.30am-12.45pm/Saturday afternoons 2-4.15pm/Weekday evenings 6.45-9pm
This is a one-off class for anyone over 18 who has ever fancied having a go on the potter’s wheel. It is ideal for complete beginners. Great as a treat or for trying it out before signing up for a course. Ideal as a gift!
• CLASS SIZE/TEACHERS/INFO: Maximum of 6-7 students/2 teachers. The class lasts for 2 and a quarter hours. During the class the teachers will help you through the basics of making a pot on the wheel starting from the centred position right through to the finishing and taking off. You will be shown how to make various different shapes and are encouraged to have as many goes as time allows at no extra cost. If you want to keep any additional pots you make you can do so at a cost of £5 per pot.
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
• GLAZING: Once you have finished you can choose a colour for each pot. We have 12 different colours to choose from so something for everyone! Once your pots have been bisque fired we will glaze them for you before their final firing.

• REFUNDS: 15 full working days (Monday-Friday) for a full refund(20 from September). Between 15 full working days (20 from September) & the start of the class in advance then you will only get a 50% refund if someone else can be found to replace you. We will always do our best to try and sell your ticket on. All refunds are minus Eventbrite fees which are non-refundable. Cancelations may be subject to an admin fee of £50. REFUNDS for groups of 3 or larger require 20 working days notice (25 from September) as it can be really difficult to sell on large numbers of tickets close to the date of the class. There are no transfers available for groups of 3 or larger.
• CHANGING DATES OF YOUR CLASS: To transfer to a different date you must give 15 working days notice (20 from September). You are bound by the above refund terms. We only allow one transfer per ticket.
