One-off Taster Classes
SATURDAY MORNING ONE-OFF POTTER'S WHEEL TASTERS – £80
LEVEL: LEISURE/FUN
• AGE RANGE: 18+
• COST: £80 per person incl. firing for one pot. All extra pots made fired at a cost of £5 per pot
• INCLUDES: All your materials/tools/aprons/firings for one pot.
• DAYS/TIMES: Saturdays mornings 10.30am-12.45pm.
This is a one-off class for anyone over 18 who has ever fancied having a go on the potter’s wheel. It is ideal for complete beginners. Great as a treat or for trying it out before signing up for a course. Ideal as a gift!
• CLASS SIZE/TEACHERS/INFO: Maximum of 6 students/2 teachers. The class lasts for 2 and a quarter hours. During the class the teachers will help you through the basics of making a pot on the wheel starting from the centred position right through to the finishing and taking off. If there is time you can have more goes and if you want to keep any additional pots you make you can do at a cost of £5 per pot.
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
• GLAZING: Once you have finished you can choose a colour for each pot. We have 12 different colours to choose from so something for everyone! Once your pots have been bisque fired we will glaze them for you before their final firing.

• REFUNDS: 15 full working days (Monday-Friday) for a full refund. Between 15 full working days & the start of the class in advance then you will only get a 50% refund if someone else can be found to replace you. We will always do our best to try and sell your ticket on. All refunds are minus Eventbrite fees which are non-refundable. Cancelations may be subject to an admin fee of £50. REFUNDS for groups of 3 or larger require 20 working days notice as it can be really difficult to sell on large numbers of tickets close to the date of the class. There are no transfers available for groups of 3 or larger.
• CHANGING DATES OF YOUR CLASS: To transfer to a different date you must give 15 working days notice. You are bound by the above refund terms. We only allow one transfer per ticket.

HALF DAY BEGINNERS FOUNDATION INTRO TO POTTERY CLASS – £135
LEVEL: FUN/1 BEGINNERS
• AGE RANGE: 18+
• COST: £135 per person incl. all materials & firings.
• INCLUDES: All your materials/tools/aprons/all firings.
• DAYS/TIMES/WHERE: Saturdays afternoons 1-5.30pm.
Beginners intro half day class is to help get you started on your pottery journey. During the course of the afternoon you will be given an introduction to various pottery techniques including throwing on the wheel and hand building. This is a great starter for the beginners journey. From this you can book onto one of our longer beginners courses. But it’s a fun way of spending an afternoon, as a one-off experience or great as a gift!
• CLASS SIZE/TEACHERS/INFO: Maximum of 10 students/2 teachers. The class lasts for 4.5 hours with a 2-30 minute break halfway through. During the class the teachers will help you through the basics of making a pot on the wheel starting from the centred position right through to the finishing and taking off for one half of the class. During the other half you will try out some hand building techniques such as coiling or pinching.
• GLAZING: For your wheel thrown pieces you can choose one colour per pot. We have 12 different colours to choose from so something for everyone! Once your pots have been bisque fired we will glaze them for you before their final firing. For your hand built pieces you will decorate with stained slips (we have 7 colours to choose from) and we will finish them off with transparent glaze once they have been bisque fired.
